Blinqx, a provider of software solutions for SMEs, corporates, and service organizations, has brought on Joris Van Der Gucht—founder and former owner of the accountancy software platform Silverfin—as a senior advisor to help establish Blinqx as a key player in the Belgian market. He will also leverage his sector expertise to support and advise Blinqx’s accountancy division during its next growth phase.
oris Van Der Gucht founded the Belgian accountancy software platform Silverfin in 2013. As an accountant, he became frustrated with inefficient workflows, which he and his co-founder automated themselves. Over the course of ten years, Silverfin grew to become a leading software provider across 15 European countries. Last September, the company was acquired by software giant Visma, marking a natural moment for Joris to apply his expertise and entrepreneurial experience in new ways—including as a senior advisor at Blinqx.
