How Driessen & Rappange significantly improves its speed of work

Insuring aircraft, such as gliders, single- and twin-engine aircraft, drones, helicopters, business jets, is a speciality. They know that like no other at the brokerage and proxy company A.J. Driessen and Rappange.

Driessen and Rappange made the choice to switch to eBlinqx. “That choice was partly prompted by us taking over a portfolio and also one of the employees,” says René Moritz, manager of the insurance department and responsible for IT. “He was working with eBlinqx and said, almost ad nauseam, that Blinqx could do certain things as well and even better than our then existing package.”

The challenge

It was not an easy choice because everyone knows that conversion from one system to another is never flawless. Of course, there were unexpected issues you run into here as well, but we stand 100% behind our choice of Blinqx. Aviation policies are special and that created some challenges during the conversion, but I can't help but say that the people at Blinqx worked continuously and extremely well to achieve a satisfactory result."

One of our main requirements was that the new package should be much more tailored to customer service and have the CRM, integrated. We want to be able to serve our clients much better and communicate with them in other ways. In addition, it had to make our work as consultants easy. Moreover, we have found that variable layouts within a package make maintaining it increasingly complicated. Although customization is highly desirable, especially with aircraft policies, for example, a piece of standardization is much clearer and easier to maintain. Those requirements and the experience an employee already had with Blinqx were the deciding factors. We already notice that our speed of work has improved considerably, because we now also have a so-called clean setup of the package, which is an additional advantage of switching to a new package.

We choose a modern and innovative package with an emphasis on standardization in order to serve our relations even better in terms of quality and quantity.

The process/method

We are convinced that eBlinqx is going to bring us a lot. In line with our requirement, eBlinqx is, much more than our old package, tailored to customer service. CRM is simply part of eBlinqx and thus also much better equipped for relationship maintenance. Look at campaigns, for example. If a relation has been approached for an action and there is still no response, you receive a notification within eBlinqx when you open the customer view. We are therefore convinced that this software supports us well in our advisory work. Although we are a fairly traditional insurance agency, I am convinced that when we see the possibilities that are now available to us in the area of customer relations, we will use them.
