However, this way of working created inefficiencies and a lack of consistency because the programs were not fully integrated. The use of multiple programs side by side led to a messy and less effective work process. VDT Lawyers therefore looked for a solution that could integrate everything into one system, making the work process more streamlined, simple and uniform for everyone in the firm.

The personal relationship with BaseNet and the fact that BaseNet was just starting out in the legal profession in 2007 also led to an intimate collaboration at the time. As a result, VDT has been very influential in the development of BaseNet, such as the introduction of additions, role administration and the insolvency file. Thus, a full service package for the lawyer was developed.
